Can you believe it’s almost November? Time is running out to enjoy some of Erie’s fall festivities! Don’t worry—it’s not too late to get into the harvest spirit. The Marsha Marsh Team has your go-to guide to some of the area’s coolest events—let’s check them out.

Mason Farms Country Market

A farmer's market, one of Erie's fall festivities

Looking for an all-in-one autumn extravaganza? The Mason Farms Country Market has everything you could ever want. There’s a reason why it’s Erie’s one-stop spot for all things fall—come see it for yourself!

Mason Farms is more than just a pumpkin patch—it’s a family owned business that’s serving up plenty of autumn cheer. Kids will love Pumpkintown, which features a petting zoo, a corn maze, and tons of inflatables. Best of all, you can find the perfect pumpkin to take home at the end of the day. On your way out, be sure to pick up some jam and local produce from their country market!

Sissons’ Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins at Erie's fall festivities

One of the quintessential fall activities is visiting a pumpkin patch. If you’re ready to have a “gourd” time with family and friends, Sissons’ Pumpkin Patch is the place to go.

Wondering what there is to do at this locally owned Erie farm? The list is endless! Sissons’ is still open for the fall season, and it’s only a short drive from the center of Erie. Here, you can enjoy tons of wholesome activities for the entire family. Pick some pumpkins, get lost in the corn maze, or take a hay ride—the choice is yours. When you work up an appetite, you can even grab a bite at one of the many concession stands or the gift shop!

Festi-Fall Craft & Vendor Show

Ready to get a head start on your holiday shopping? Erie’s Festi-Fall, located at the SAGA Club, is the best spot in town to find crafts made by local artisans. The event also benefits puppy mill awareness, so you’ll be supporting a good cause, too.

This year’s Festi-Fall is on November 3rd, and there’s going to be even more to see this year. The event is free, and it’s a great opportunity to learn a bit more about Erie’s arts and culture. They’ll even have face painting, food trucks, a Chinese Auction, and an opportunity to visit with some adoptable furry friends!

Hot Cider Hustle

Did you know that Erie is home to the area’s only apple cider half marathon? It might sound a little crazy, but it’s true! Erie’s Hot Cider Hustle is a one-of-a-kind event that marks the end of fall, and it’s a fun opportunity to get in shape!

Now’s the time to begin training for the event, which happens at Presque Isle State Park on November 10th. Need a little motivation? There are tons of caramel apples and cider waiting for you at the finish line, and you can even run to support the American Cancer Society.
