Albion Area Fair
When: September 10th – 14th
Where: Albion, PA
What: Known as the “biggest little fair around,” the Albion Area Fair has been going on for 75 years. Although it may seem small, the fair is full of activities and attractions, including animal exhibits, carnival rides, games, local vendors, and more.
Fall Harvest Festival
When: September 14th – October 31st
Where: Port Farms, Waterford
What: Port Farms is home to tons of seasonal attractions, and their Fall Harvest Festival brings it all together! Running every day except Tuesday for the next month and a half, the festival will feature things like a corn maze, a hay ride, slides, a country kitchen, and more.
Wine & Brew Walk
When: September 14th, 3pm – 7pm
Where: Downtown Meadville
What: Drink local at the Meadville Wine & Brew Walk! The event will feature 25 wineries, breweries, and distilleries from all over the state, bringing some of their best flavors to the streets of downtown. Many local restaurants and shops will also be offering specials and discounts, and there will be live music after the walk is over. Come out and support local business, and grab your ticket today!
WineFest
When: September 27th
Where: Gravel Pit Park, Gibson Park North East, PA
What: What started as a small fair in 1981 has grown into one of the most highly anticipated seasonal events in the area. WineFest brings in over 100 different wines, tons of live entertainment, special events like grape stomping, and hundreds of exhibitors—not to mention over 200,000 guests!
Autumn Leaf Festival
When: September 28th – October 6th
Where: Clarion, PA
What: Although it’s a bit of a hike from Erie, the Autumn Leaf Festival is one of the most popular fall festivals in the state. Heading into its 66th year, the award-winning event brings in hundreds of thousands of visitors throughout it’s nine days. You can expect carnival rides, concerts, parades, tons of local vendors, and more.
Franklin Applefest
When: October 4th – 6th
Where: Downtown Franklin
What: Applefest started as a pie-baking contest back in 1983, but has now grown into a three-day event, attracting over 100,000 visitors to the cozy little town. At Applefest, you’ll find live entertainment, over 300 food, drink, and craft vendors, historic tours, a 5K race, a car show, and, of course, plenty of apples.
