With the official start of Fall just days away, summer and its abundance of fun activities are winding down for the season. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still plenty of great ways to get out and have some fun in Erie! Check out some of the best fall events in Erie, PA.
Fall Gallery Night: Sept 21
Celebrate the Fall Equinox with one of The Erie Art Museum’s best events of the season. On Friday night, head to Downtown Erie to view unique displays, meet local artists, and enjoy live music and refreshments and various locations around town. There’s only one other Gallery Night this year, on December 7.
Erie Craft Lager Fest: Sept 22
Celebrate Oktoberfest with delicious craft beer, authentic food, and plenty of fun competitions! Head to Lavery Brewing Company from 12 to 4pm to enjoy samples from over 20 different breweries—most local but two from Germany. There’ll also be bratwursts, hot dogs, and sauerkraut, as well as keg rolling, hoisting, and keg bench pressing.
Downtown Erie Food Tour: Sept 22
Enjoy delicious local foods while learning more about Erie’s history with a Downtown Food Tour. Stroll the scenic streets of Downtown while enjoying samples from various local eateries, restaurants, and shops. The event runs from 11am to 2pm.
Lions, Tigers & Beers 2018: Oct 6
It’s trick-or-treating… for adults! Join Erie Beer Company in a unique event that’ll have you trick-or-treating for beer samples around the Erie Zoo grounds! There will also be local music and food trucks.
ZooBoo at Erie Zoo: Oct 18 – 30
A favorite kid event! Dress in your best costume and enjoy festive decorations at the Erie Zoo while visiting trick-or-treat stations! The event runs from October 18 through October 30 from 6 to 9pm, with earlier events available starting at 2pm.
Happy-Appy Food Tour: Oct 26
Join friends (or make new ones) while enjoying food and drinks from some of Downtown Erie’s best local watering holes. It’s fun and complete with interesting facts about Erie’s past, present, and future. The event runs from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, October 26.
